Experienced in all DIY jobs from assembling flat packs to putting up sheds, hanging mirrors and artwork, new curtains
and blinds.
From fixing fans to fitting in spotlight bulbs, setting up door bells, wall mounting TVs, wire trunking cables (hiding wires) and advising on lighting.
Restoring tired bathrooms by fixing the shower, putting up screens, unblocking the plugs, frosting the windows, removing the limescale and resealing the bath.
ABOUT ME
I am a long-time Highbury resident, dad, husband and Arsenal fan who has embarked on a second career as the Highbury Handyman having spent twenty years as an Art Director in the world of advertising. As the son of a Yorkshire farmer I was brought up on DIY and can tackle almost any task inside the house or out in the garden. I am also an experienced taxidermist - but there's a limited call for that nowadays! I am well organised, punctual and reliable and have many regular Highbury clients. I charge reasonable rates and as a northener will tell you straight what can be done or offer creative alternative suggestions.

Noel has done all sorts of work for me this year-fitted washing machines (bigger job than it sounds), new dishwasher, solved sink and bath problems, covered up tv wires, painted window frames and there's still the wood floor and doors to varnish and various other handyman tasks. He is reliable and a conscientious hard worker with fair enough charges. He's skilled at finding reasonable solutions to problems, is good to have around and doesn't drink much tea.
